  Notes	In 1332, accompanied by disinherited barons who wanted to recover forfeited lands in Scotland, he landed with 3,400 followers at Kingshorn, Fife. He defeated the Earl of Fife and at Dupplin Moor, Perthshire on 12 Aug 1332 they routed 30,000 men under the new Regent MAR. On 24 Sep 1332 he was crowned by the English at Scone. In Dec 1332 he was surprised in camp at Annan by Archibald DOUGLAS and fled, abandoning the crown. His death ended the Baliol line. {Burke's Peerage and Chamber's Biographical Dictionary}
