  Notes	The Arms illustrated on various Clerke memorial in Buckland church include three swans, linking this family with the Clerkes, Baronets of Hitcham. "By a Bill filed in the Court of Chancery it appears that William Clerke died seised and possessed of real and personal estate to the value of £30,000" [Meyrick Archives MA/ES/XXX/42/8]
