The informant on his oath saith that - this morning between six and seven o'clock he observed the man now present giving his Name George GADD standing near this Informants shop in Nicholas Street in the parish of Saint Nicholas in this City; that soon after he missed from his shop a Quarter of Beef weighing about one hundred and one quarter of the value of Two pounds; that suspecting the said Beef to have been stolen by the said George GADD he went in search of him and found him in Christmas Street in the said City with the Quarter of Beef upon his back, which Beef is the property of this Informant.
